She was one of the first eye surgeons to start to practice in Dombivli. She was especially known for her caring nature & the excellent rapport that she shared with her patients.

Publication of an annual Eye magazine called “NETRAM” through Anil Eye Hospital, with the Idea of promoting awareness about Ophthalmic advances among family Physicians & Other Speciality Consultants.
Conducted many Eye camps in various Schools in Dombivili for early detection of visual disorders in Children.
Delivered many Lectures on various Eye Problems & their management in Dombivili & Kalyan areas.
Regularly features on 'Star Majha' TV Programme to improve Social Awareness on Eye Diseases.
Organized a 'Glaucoma Support Group' of established Glaucoma patients & regularly conduct Interactive Workshops on 12th March, The World Glaucoma Day.
Dr. Anagha Heroor is the Chairman of the Gopal Krishna Charitable Trust doing a lot of philanthropic work, with a "Mobile van clinic" which conducts Eye camps in rural areas, school vision screening camps & awareness lectures.
In March 2019, Dr. Anagha Heroor successfully organized a rally for Glaucoma awareness at Dombivili. In September 2019, she worked as the Chief Coordinator for the MOS awareness initiative for eye donation.
As a personal hobby, she regularly writes poetry, has learned Hindustani classical music & classical dance.
