About Doctor

Dr Anagha Heroor is the Managing Director of Anil Eye Hospital Group – Dombvili, Palava, Kalyan, and Thane. She is a well-known and one of the most experienced ophthalmologists in India known for her immense ophthalmological work over the past three decades.

Dr Heroor, completed her MBBS from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, Mumbai, with 1 st Rank. Further she completed her DOMS, MS, FCPS & DNB from same the Institute and was
the university topper.

She has received many gold medals at all stages of her academic career.

Doctor Expertise

Dr Anagha has vast experience in managing various complex eye problems. She is an expert Cataract Surgeon with special expertise in the Latest Cataract surgery techniques like MICS, Phacoemulsification and Robotic (Femto Cataract Surgery).
Dr Heroor also has a vast experience in Refractive Surgery (Spectacle Removal Surgeries). Till now she has successfully performed more than 15 thousand Refractive Surgeries like Custom Lasik, Femto Second -Bladeless Lasik surgery, Touch less PRK surgery and Phakic IOL surgery (to remove High spectacle power).
Her other expertise includes managing Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Corneal infections, Pterygium, Severe Eye Allergies, Eye Trauma etc.
Apart from being a great Eye Specialist surgeon she also has a huge contribution towards academics.
She holds prestigious positions like Hon Secretary for Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society and Member, Academic Research committee West Zone, All India Ophthalmological Society. She was also the past Managing Committee member of Bombay Ophthalmological society and ex- co-editor AIOS newsletter.
She has performed live surgery at various conferences & numerous academic presentations in various regional, state & national & international fora.
She gets regularly invited as a speaker at various National and International ophthalmic forums.
