She has completed her DNB Ophthalmology from Sankara Eye Hospital and done her long term fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Squint from K B Haji Bachooali Charitable Eye Hospital. Further she completed her PHACO fellowship from Shree Ganesh Vinayak Eye Hospital, Raipur.

She is specialized in managing Eye Problems in Children like Myopia, congenital eye problems, Amblyopia (lazy eye), cataracts in children, and various eyes problems in small children.
She is an expert in Squint Management (misalignment of the eyes). Her success in squint surgeries is outstanding be it pediatric or adult squint surgeries.
She is an expert neonatal ophthalmologist with ample experience of screening and management of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP, screened more than 5000 babies and done ROP laser of more than 100 premature babies)
Her another area of interest is Neuro Ophthalmology.

She has presented many papers and posters in at state and national conferences.
She has participated in several social outreach programs.
She has actively worked in more than 250 cataract camps involving hundreds of patients .
She was actively engaged in tele screening program of hundreds of babies for retinopathy of prematurity and their management by ROP laser.
